Bear Poop and Compromise

I suppose it isn’t a bad compromise. It is the one that works after all. The bear doesn’t poop in my yard and I can feed birds if I take in the feeders at night and when I’m not home.

But what is the real price I pay for this compromise?  I can’t sit in the yard even in the middle of the day because bears have no respect for time of day.

I had to make the compromise because the other choice is to kill the bear somehow which is abhorrent to me and illegal. Life with wildlife.

But what have I given up? Some friends won’t come visit me because they’re afraid the bear will be there. I don’t feel comfortable eating food out in the yard because the bear might be there. I don’t take walks in the woods behind the house because I know the bear is there. Still I made a compromise. I can still put out bird feeders for a few hours a day. Kind of too bad that the cats can’t enjoy their birdytv as much as they used to. Perhaps the bears got too much in this deal?

It made me wonder what I compromise with humans. Perhaps I have to rethink some compromises? Is it really worth it if I have to change my lifestyle, change traditions that are cherished, change what I look like, not show what I feel, never show me, never change me? If I don’t make those compromises, would they rip apart my bird feeders and poop in my yard?

We must answer these questions ourselves as we go.  Sometimes we may able to rework the compromise agreements or totally walk away.  How far do you go to keep the peace?

A Little Story

When I was in elementary school I used to read science fiction/fantasy books where one of the characters inevitably healed people with mind and hands. (Andre Norton.  I highly recommend her for your pandemic reading pleasure)!  I so much wanted to have that power.  One theme in many of her books was finding that spark of true self - that which gives and is life by using one's mind/will.  That spark is what makes us heal. It takes a lot of courage to dive deep inside to find that and face it.

In my 50's driving down the road one day -something said on the radio clicked.  I can do that!  I have achieved that goal. I was ecstatic! Whyever did it take me so long to realize that?

Now I know that is not a superpower.  I also know I'm not actually doing the healing myself.  I make spaces within and around you to allow healing to come in.  The Universe and you do the actual healing.  Once we realize that,
everything becomes easier.

Easy for me to say.  All you really need to know is that I can help.  I see/hear the blank register in your brains.  You are in that spot of ego that says nobody can do that.  How could this happen?  Let me tell you about Activated Space Healing.  It's all about the spaces between: between molecules, emotions, spirit and physical, people, anywhere there is a space can be activated to assist your healing, comfort and understanding.  But again, all you really need to know I can help.  I can help right now by email, phone, text.  DO try other means (never ignore your physician) of solving problems then talk with me.

I have a half price coupon going for the pandemic time,  Just contact me and ask for Spooky Action deal.
If you are unemployed, furloughed or whatever and stressed out, call anyway to discuss.

Distance Healing

Is social distancing causing you to put of healing work or just causing you to need work? I offer distance healing. ASHwork is uniquely designed to adapt to long distance work. But what is distance healing? How does it work? DOES it work?

Why believe me?
When the mind is confronted with a new concept or world view, and does not have a frame of reference, it often prematurely dismisses the idea. However, many studies have been done on distant healing and the question IF it works has already been answered. Such studies have proven the validity of distant healing, but this knowledge has not made it into the mainstream awareness.

What is Distance Healing?
Distance healing is any form of healing energy given and that is received and has a healing effect on the recipient. With this type of work, you do not have to be physically present with the healer to receive the healing. It may be done over the phone or at a special time agreed upon between you and the practitioner.
This type of healing is equally effective as in-person healing because in alternative energy healing and holistic medicine therapies, we are working with the physical, emotional and mental aspects of an individual by accessing the individual’s energy body. The energy body can be accessed easily from anywhere and at any time and does not require you to be physically present with the practitioner. The healer accesses your energy body by where she decides to place her awareness. Energy does not "travel" anywhere. It is "sent" and received" by intention alone and is instantly "transmitted". ASHwork is Intentional Awareness so it’s a wonderful way to work.

I find telephone healing sessions work quite well. Sometimes I may do the healing session at a separate time where the client does not need to be on the phone, however, I prefer to be able to talk to you. I can communicate, get feedback, and permission. The healing transcends time and space and the phone connection has nothing to do with the efficacy of the healing.

I believe consciousness is “non-local”. It is not confined to time and space so distance healing effects are not bound to time and space. This means that the effects do not diminish with distance. It does not matter how far the healer and you are separated by space. Depending on the intentions and skills of the “healer”, the positive effects can be far reaching and range from healing of emotional issues to measurable physiological changes such as improvement of immune and cardiovascular function, etc.

Physicists Elizabeth A. Rauscher and Russell Targ say “..(distant healing) phenomena are not a result of an energetic transmission, but rather they are an interaction of our awareness with a non-local hyper- dimensional space-time in which we live.” Einstein famously called this “spooky action at a distance” or Entanglement Theory.

Distance healing can have a number of effects:
it can provide immediate relief from chronic pain,
• low energy and other somatic ailments,
• improvements in mood, sleep, vitality, self-esteem and relationships.
ASHwork can be especially helpful with anxiety and stress.

Here is an opportunity to heal physical, emotional, mental and spiritual ailments without having to depart from your daily routine. Distance healing can have a number of effects: it can provide immediate relief from chronic pain, low energy and other somatic ailments, as well as improvements in mood, sleep, vitality, self-esteem and relationships.

I am offering distance healing for 1/2 price until July 4, 2020. Send me a private message, email, book now on Facebook or call and say you want some “Spooky Action” in order to get that discount.

Apocolyse Energy

Go into the website or my Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/avallongrove/?ref=bookmarks ) to book your readings or get huge discounts for energy work that will help you ease your stress, anxiety and increase your immunity.

My  friend's Tarot Facebook group (Cynthia EkrenTarot) was discussing about the tremendous amount of energy that’s making us all uneasy right now. I came up with an interesting reading from my new Tarot deck, the Sedona Vortex Tarot.
After I read it, I wondered if this was the same type of energy going on the year that my Henri, cat, had been wandering around for four months out in the woods. She was supposed to be learning from Bast and Sehkmet. However, she chose not to use what she learned out there. I got the nine of Boynton Canyon again - You think you are secure but maybe you are not. Out of insecurity we want to stay curled up in the energy we already know even if it's scary and uncomfortable.  Is this really the time to do that?
Sometimes we feel the passion and calling to do something great or assist in something greater than ourselves but we are afraid to step forward into that energy. It’s just too much for us.
Henri has chosen not to share much about that time or what’s she’s supposed to do. I am still awaiting instructions from the Goddesses through her.  I think I am insecure in going forward myself.  Is that how you are feeling right now?Perhaps this is a good time to learn what to do to step into your own power.  Learn what you can do and begin to use it.

Here's the reading with photo of the cards: (I thought I pulled one card but had two.  Then three fell out of the deck)

Sounds like we are all getting excited and releasing passionate emotions which are going into the atmosphere. That’s the main thing causing the upset in the energetic world. However, we have the choice what we want to do with that energy do you want to use it to bring good to do things that you are really passionate about in your life or to change something in your life or you want to be stuck right where you are. That was the first two cards' messages.

The last cards (that fell out) are about controlling your passion and using it for self realization, being yourself in that energy. Also maybe Mother Nature is kind of laughing at us and reminds us that we think we’re secure but we’re really not. And, lastly, this all leads to clean up your act to reveal truth and get to a place of enlightenment.

How Do you tell someone's in pain?

I know people who will stub their toe, scream and carry-on not just for the first 10 minutes, but for the next three days even if it’s not even bruised. I also know people who can hit their toe pulling their toenail off, gushing blood and barely say ouch.
My point is you can’t really tell how deep a person's pain is nor can you tell what kind of trauma has happened to cause it. Not only is a person's pain felt differently by each but a trauma that causes a life changing event to one person can be something that seems very small to someone else.

Telling a child she’s stupid or an ignoramus or crazy could possibly just fall off like water off a duck but equally could make that child withdraw, feel unworthy or maybe even angry. If you have a talent that is the cause of someone calling you that just think of the harm it does.

On one hand I was always told I was smart. On the other hand very little of what I did earned approval or appreciation from my family. I always thought I wasn’t enough that I had to struggle to earn that approval.  I had this gift I didn’t know how to expand until rather late in life. I didn’t realize that the family didn’t understand I had the gift. How could they have known if I didn’t know? I somehow lost that knowledge in the struggle to fit in. OK! If you don’t like me because I’m smart, I won’t be that smart. If you don’t like me because I’m different, I won’t be different.
So when people ask me for my story I never know what to say. For just wanting approval of your parents and your family doesn’t really count as a trauma, does it? Do you have to go through a trauma in order to have a gift? I suppose that’s another Conversation, isn’t it?
I do have a gift. I have learned how to use it. I can help. If you think what you’ve gone through is too small but it still makes you hurt, I can help. If you have any other kind of pain physical, emotional, spiritual I can also help. But I can’t tell from here if you’re hurting, you have to tell me. You have to ask. I hope you do. I would love to help.

What does a cat do when there are choices to be made?

Bast Says relax into it.  You know you have to eat. You have to sleep.  When those are taken care of you bath and take time to think.  Choices.  Play?  Nap? Plan the next hunt?  So easy.  Take opportunities when they come up. Step up.  Get it done.

That's pretty good advice.  People have to do a little more thinking.  Play? Nap? Plan?  Planning.  There's much more for humans to plan.  There are so many choices.  Which ones do I need to plan for first?  Do I have to do those simultaneously?  I'm getting carried away.  Wait.

First - take care of your own needs and any obligations you have promised to others.  Your word is important to keep.

Next - take time to play.  This is like putting money for yourself from your paycheck into a savings account first before you spend it on other things. Make time for something social and fun.

Then - those looming choices.  Taking opportunities when they arise is great advice.  Sometimes we have to start making opportunities. I take opportunities to work at expositions as often as possible.  I took the opportunity to teach classes with the local community education program but only one student signed up.  The classes were canceled.  Time to step up a bit more.  Look for other places to contact where one could hold gatherings or classes.  So many other things also need to be addressed whether you are trying to start new endeavors in your life or just live your best life.

What am I actually doing?  I am concentrating on taking care of me and doing my caregiver work as a way to avoid doing the work I truly want to do.   This is not what Bast means when she advises us to step up.  Certainly take care of yourself and perform your obligations as necessary.  But keep your eye on the hunt always.  How can you pounce on prey if you aren't concentrating and haven't planned ahead.
